Zero Waste Campaign
Urban and Public Design
Gowasteline is a social enterprise that champions massive waste collection and recycling services, addresses poverty, unemployment, and climate change challenges by using plastic waste as a currency to exchange value. Leveraging technology, our business provides people living in indigent communities with the opportunity to capture value from their waste to live healthier, longer lives. Our users earn ‘GREEN POINTS’ for every plastic waste deposited with us, which can be redeemed for cash, as health insurance, school fees, utility bills, groceries or funds to start a micro business. Recovered plastics are sorted, pre-processed and sold as raw materials to produce polyester fiber used in textile industry, food grade plastics, car parts and other useful products.
