MaWi
Urban and Public Furniture Design
MaWi is a totem that takes up the totemic tradition by hybridizing it to the more contemporary western one. It is a totem that plays on the overlapping of the shapes of which it is composed and is designed to be particularly visible and serve as an enticement for the exterior of bars and restaurants. It is a modular object, made up of several parts depending on how it is assembled and the needs of the business; but it is also modular in its name: depending on the number of parts, it is possible to play with its name. It is in fact made up of stacked tables and stools, made of recycled plastic and waste metal tubing.
