“Da Cosa Nasce Cosa” is a project which promotes the regeneration of theDergano-Lancetti-Bovisa district in Milan. The project proposes the use of digitalfabrication technologies and the reuse of old industrial production machinery tocreate a chain of recycling and use of plastics produced on a neighborhood scale.The goal is to transform waste into opportunities for the territory, also generatingmicro economies and a production chain that is more aware of the needs of theterritory. The result is “geo-referenced” recycled materials, depending on the type ofwaste produced from place to place.
