Old? New? RE-NEW!
Educational Social Media
INTRO
Every single thing can be old. Or new. It can also be re-new! How? Let’s find out together. The communication project Old? New? RE-NEW! is directed to children and young people who make up Generations Z and Alpha. They are involved with photos and short videos to explore how to build new, funny and functioning objects (tools, furniture, toys…) starting from every day wastes made of plastics or other materials.
IDEA
The photo/video tutorial Old? New? RE-NEW! broadcasted on multiple platforms (Instagram, YouTube, TikTok) will present one design object per episode. Each episode is split into 2 short steps: 1. Present the individual recycled parts that are going to be used to build the new object. Here the CTA will stimulate audience curiosity, creativity and lateral thinking by asking if they recognize the recycled objects, where they come from and if they have any idea on what can be built starting from those building blocks. 2. The recycled parts are easily fit together and they create a new object that is presented and shared with the audience.
