DREI is a sculptural object with an abstract, graphic appearance. DREI is an ongoing study of furniture pieces. In doing so, we explore the possibilities of making a piece of furniture with the least amount of waste possible. The principle of joining makes it possible to produce different objects according to the same principle by changing the dimensions of the initial material. THREE sidetables are made of recycled and recyclable HDPE. The material has a wax-like feel and can be used in both indoor and outdoor spaces. All surfaces remain as found unfinished – as a result of the manufacturing process or CNC machining. The process makes serial production and the plastic makes recycling easy – DREI creates a closed-loop material cycle. The principle of stacking makes it easy to assemble and disassemble – and it’s countless possibilities in colour make it a zero-waste eye-catching object.
