Armchair Richard and Table Judy are both reinterpretations for adults of ecoBirdy’s award-winning furniture for kids’ chair Charlie and table Luisa. Both products feature ecoBirdy’s distinctive speckled look making waste material beautiful. The recycling process is an integral part of ecoBirdy’s design process. Due to accurate sorting, cleaning and grinding during the recycling process, post-consumer plastic waste is transformed into valuable material while retaining character and memory of the previous product life. Both products are specially designed taking into account the specific properties of recycled plastic in production. Not only the appearance of the material is characteristic, but also the rounded shapes contribute to its materialization.
